About Our Foundation

Born from a deep conviction that every community deserves a chance — and a team that shows up for it.

From a Belief Into a Movement

The Sangita Tapkir Social Foundation began not in an office, but in a conversation — about the children in Moshi who couldn't afford school bags, about the women in Kondhwa who had skills but no access to training, about the lanes in Pune that needed more green.

Registered in 2024 as a Section 8 company, STSF is built on a radical premise: that a foundation should cost nothing to run, so every rupee of donation can go entirely to the people it's meant to serve. Our founders bear all operational costs personally.

🎯
Our MissionTo empower underserved communities in Pune through dignified, transparent, and people-first programs

We work across four pillars — education, environment, digital literacy, and community health — ensuring every program is rooted in listening to the communities we serve.

  • Deliver school kits, skills, and health resources directly
  • Maintain zero administrative overhead
  • Publish full financial transparency annually
  • Co-design every program with beneficiary communities
Our VisionA Pune where opportunity is not determined by the lane you were born into

We envision a Maharashtra where every child enters a classroom equipped and confident, every woman has economic independence, every neighbourhood breathes clean air, and every family has basic healthcare.

  • 1,000 school kits distributed by 2026
  • 10,000 saplings planted under Laghu Wan
  • 500 women trained in digital skills
  • 25 community health camps annually
What Drives Us

Our Core Values

Five principles that guide every decision we make, every program we run, every rupee we spend.

🔍
Transparency

Every rupee accounted for, every decision documented. Our books are open to anyone who asks.

🤝
Commitment

We show up — consistently, personally, without fanfare. Long-term relationships over short-term impact.

🚪
Opportunity

We don't give charity. We create doorways — and help people walk through them on their own terms.

🌐
Collaboration

No single organisation can transform a community. We partner, listen, and build together.

🏘
Community

The community is never the beneficiary of our work — they are the co-authors of it.
